Surprise Jimmy Buffett concert

Last night Debbie and I along with a few hundred other Jimmy Buffett fans were treated to a surprise concert. It was rumored as a "unannounced" free show at Jimmy Buffets at the Beachcomber in Waikiki. Lot's of fans and a few drunks came out and we all had a great time. Debbie's Truffle Experience

Today Debbie was lucky enough to attend a class on Truffle making at the Sweet Paradise Chocolate shop in Kailua.

I am lucky enough to be able to sample all the wonderful truffles she created.

"Lost" day in Hawaii

Well, it's been 3 months since my last blog. So sorry. No excuses just busy and trying to enjoy Hawaii before the holidays hit. Debbie and I had last weekend off and we had a great time. On Saturday we attended an all day "LOST" event put on by the Hawaii international film festival. We went to three seminars : Producing and Directing a Hit Show; with Jen Higgins Executive producer.
Bringing the Design of each episode together; with Production designer Zack Grobler, Director of photography John Bartly, Construction coordinator Michael Crowe and Location manager Jim Triplett.
Costume and Props ;with Costume designer Rolland Sanchez and Prop Master Robert Kyker.

If you are a fan of the show, it was a great way to see how the whole TV thing works.

Today was another beach day as Debbie and I enjoy a rare 4 day weekend.

Yesterday we photographed some beautiful flowering trees that are in bloom all over the island right now.
